In the third one-day International match played between West Indies and Bangladesh, the hard hitter Chris Gayle Smashed five huge sixes. And he has equaled Shahid Khan Afridi’s record of hitting the most number of sixes in International Cricket.

Shahid Afridi was the sole record holder and has always maintained his image of a decorated player but the strong hitting machine has managed to stand beside him.  He raced to his 73 runs inning from just 66 balls and he hit some enormous sixes to stand equal with Afridi at Warner Park-St. Kitts ground.

Afridi shares his record of 476 Sixes with Gayle, who can very easily surpass him in the next series he will be playing in. Boom Boom (Shahid Afridi) hit 476 in 524 matches whereas on the other hand Gayle managed to do that in just 443 matches. He achieved it in 81 less matches.

Eventually, he will be breaking the International Record of most sixes hit by a batsman.
